Slayers' Home Grounds

The Slayers enjoy a number of home grounds throughout the St. George and Sutherland areas.

Hurstville Oval – The hallowed turf of Hurstville Oval has had many a great player tread upon it’s wickets and outfield, foremost of these is Australia’s greatest ever cricketer Sir Donald Bradman.
Location: 30 Dora Street, Hurstville.

Glenn McGrath Oval – Named after one of Australia’s greatest fast bowler, Glenn McGrath, and the home of current Australia captain, Steve Smith, it is a favourite of all local cricketers.
Location: 194-214 Willarong Road, Caringbah.

Harold Fraser Oval – Named after Gallipoli serviceman and former St George Cricket Club first grade player (1925-1932) Harold Fraser, it’s an afternoon well spent at the oval and it’s surrounds.
 Princes Highway, Kogarah Bay.

Olds Park – This 9.5 hectare park was originally an old brick and shale pit in the 1960’s before being reclaimed as park land. Named after prominent local Oliver Arnold Olds, Olds Park now boasts the newest turf wicket in the district after been revamped in mid 2017.
Location: Forest Road, Penshurst.

Gifford Park - Gifford Park is often referred to as "The Spiritual Home Ground of the Slayers"... well according to the veterans of the club anyway. A smaller ground tucked away in residential area, Gifford Park is the home ground for our 3rd Grade side.
Location: Corner of Young and Arcadia Streets, Penshurst.
